Meet Our Co-Directors
Jaime Barron co-director
Jaime Barron is currently the Co-Director of Next Level Camp for Girls. She graduated in 2004 from the School of Education at Molloy College. In addition she holds a Masters Degree in Math, Science and Technology from Hofstra University. Jaime has 15 years of teaching experience, and is currently a Math Coach at the Longwood Academy of Discovery in the Bronx. Camp has played a major part in Jaime’s life beginning at the age of 3. She attended sleep away camp for 3 years with her mother (counselor), sister (camper) and grandmother (camp nurse). Beginning in elementary school, Jaime attended Camp Debaun located in Oceanside, New York. She started out as a camper, became a CIT, Assistant Counselor and finally a Head Counselor. To Jaime, summer with out camp is not a summer. She is looking forward to supporting campers build relationships and create summer memories that they will never forget.

Danielle Beshar co-director
Danielle Beshar is a graduate of Northern Arizona University and holds a Master of Professional Studies in Literacy from Manhattanville College. At an early age she discovered that her true passion was working with children. She began her career in the Mamaroneck School District and is currently teaching first grade in the dual language program. She has worked with Carmen in the classroom setting for the past 4 years and helped run a camp together for the past 3 Summers. Danielle has always enjoyed the energy and dynamic of a camp setting. She looks forward to bringing her experience and passion to Next Level.

Ed Metzendorf
After years of coaching his daughters in a variety of sports he was excited to have the opportunity to Launch Next Level Camp for Girls. Ed is committed to providing a unique and customized experience for young girls that fosters self-esteem and contributes to their overall growth and success as healthy and productive leaders in their community.
Prior to launching Next Level, Ed was involved in different facets of the summer camp business for the last 17 years. After spending three years as a Director at Westcoast Connection Camp, Ed helped develop a summer camp software business for the past 14 years and has taught sessions at over 100 summer camp conferences. Ed is on the Board of The Summer Camp and very involved in Camp Champions which both give kids from less fortunate environments the opportunity to enjoy a summer camp experience.
Ed lives in Larchmont with his wife Beth (a Social Worker and former Division Leader at Camp Scatico) and his two daughters, Kate (15) and Julia (12). Ed and his staff look forward to creating memories, friendships and most importantly many smiles!
